TCC/TCM

JVK® TCC/TCM sheets

Tempering. Accelerate. Ensure quality.
JVK® TCC/TCM provides you with temperature-controlled filter press plates for reliable dehumidification and short cycle times. Integrated heating/cooling channels allow filter cakes to be preheated, reheated or cooled in a targeted manner in order to optimize dewatering, drying and product quality.

What does TCC/TCM mean?

  • TCC – Temperature-controlled chamber plate: classic chamber geometry with temperature control channels.
  • TCM – Temperature-controlled membrane plate: Membrane plate with temperature control – combines pressing/pressing with thermal support.

Benefits at a Glance

  • Shorter cycles thanks to thermally assisted dewatering/drying.
  • Lower residual moisture and reproducible cake quality.
  • Process stability: defined temperature control, fewer fluctuations.
  • Flexible: Heating (steam/hot water/oil) or cooling (water/brine).
  • Compatible & retrofit-capable: Design for existing presses possible.

Technical design

  • Plate body: PP or PVDF, flow-optimized channels.
  • Diaphragm (TCM): TPE/EPDM/NBR – matched to medium, temperature, pH.
  • Temperature control media: steam, thermal oil, hot/cold water; suitable connections.
  • Inlet variants: Center or corner inlet, wash channels on request.
  • Options: Cake washing, thermal drying, squeeze-out indicator, SnapFit® cloth system.

Applications

Mining (concentrates, tailings), chemicals/fine chemicals, ceramics, pigments/paints, environmental technology – wherever residual moisture and cycle time are crucial.

Design & Service

We dimension the cake thickness, membrane material, channel guidance and temperature control capacity according to the medium, temperature window and target values. Retrofit of your existing system incl. sample plate on request.
Suitable filter cloths: Optimum results with correctly laid out cloths.

FAQs

TCC for robust processes with a focus on temperature control; TCM if additional compression/compression molding is required.

Depending on the process: steam, thermal oil, hot/cold water – connections and sealing concept are designed accordingly.

Yes, can often be realized as a retrofit in existing presses. We check geometry, loads and media resistance.

JVK SnapFit®

Screwless and non-destructive "SNAP" connection

Inspired by applications outside the industry, this fastening technique finds its place in filtration. This simple mounting option significantly reduces working times. The screwless assembly also prevents screws from falling into the filter cake trough. For example, an overhang cloth can be changed quickly and easily at the turbidity bore in the filter press using a ring remover and rubber hammer.

Through the connection with the JVK SnapFit®, the attachments are pre-assembled with sufficient holding force, ensuring they remain firmly connected during the transport of the filter elements. The attachments are fully fixed and sealed to the filter plate by the closing force of the filter press.

The ring remover (JVK utility model) is also a JVK development, specifically designed to release rings fastened with the JVK SnapFit® and safely remove them from the filter press area.
