JVK® filter elements for filter presses

JVK® supplies filter elements (combination and membrane filter plates) for new and existing filter presses – precisely matched to the existing plate geometry and designed for a long service life, reliable sealing and short cycle times. Whether mining, chemicals, ceramics or environmental technology: our filter elements are tailored to the process conditions such as pressure, temperature, medium and pH value.

Benefits at a Glance

  • Process reliability: high product quality, reliable sealing, low fabric load
  • Economical: reduced residual moisture and shorter cycle times, low weight
  • Durable: wear- and chemical-resistant materials, easy to clean
  • Perfect fit: 1:1 compatibility with the existing panel/inlet geometry
  • Quick change: in combination with JVK® SnapFit® tool-free and reproducible

Compatibility

  • Metso/SALA type – plug-and-play, common sizes (e.g. 800/1000/1200/2500)
  • Ishigaki-Type – compatible versions made to measure
  • Other presses – project-related adaptations, also for special sizes

Materials & design

  • Diaphragm materials: TPE, EPDM, NBR – selected according to medium, temperature and pH value
  • Filter plate base body: PP, PE, PVDF (and others on request)
  • Options: Cake washing, thermal cake drying/tempering, central or corner infeed
  • Target parameters: defined cake thickness, short cycle times, low residual moisture

Matching filter cloths

Replacement membranes perform best with correctly laid out cloths.

JVK SnapFit®

Screwless and non-destructive "SNAP" connection

Inspired by applications outside the industry, this fastening technique finds its place in filtration. This simple mounting option significantly reduces working times. The screwless assembly also prevents screws from falling into the filter cake trough. For example, an overhang cloth can be changed quickly and easily at the turbidity bore in the filter press using a ring remover and rubber hammer.

Through the connection with the JVK SnapFit®, the attachments are pre-assembled with sufficient holding force, ensuring they remain firmly connected during the transport of the filter elements. The attachments are fully fixed and sealed to the filter plate by the closing force of the filter press.

The ring remover (JVK utility model) is also a JVK development, specifically designed to release rings fastened with the JVK SnapFit® and safely remove them from the filter press area.
