This statement applies to the website https://jvk.de. We are committed to ensuring accessibility in accordance with legal requirements.
Legal Basis and Scope
In Germany, the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) will come into force on June 28, 2025. It implements EU Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act) and also obliges private economic operators to make digital offerings accessible.
For our shop, this means that we adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1 Level AA (or WCAG 2.2 in due course, as required by the BFSG).
Status of Accessibility
We have reviewed and continuously improved the website in consideration of WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The most important measures include:
Semantic Structure:
Use of appropriate headings (h1, h2 etc.), ARIA roles, and landmark elements to support navigation for screen readers.
Form Elements:
Labels are correctly linked with for attributes. Dynamic variant headings are inserted via JavaScript with role=”heading” and appropriate ARIA attributes.
Contrast and Design:
Text colors and backgrounds meet the contrast requirements for Level AA. Focus indicators are clearly visible.
Responsive Design:
Mobile and desktop versions adapt flexibly; content remains accessible with zoom or screen reader usage.
Navigation:
All interactive elements (buttons, links) are keyboard-accessible without creating a “keyboard trap”.
Known Limitations
Missing Alt Attributes:
Some images currently do not yet have alternative texts. We plan to add these using an AI plugin.
External Content:
Some embedded widgets or scripts from external providers may not be fully accessible.

Legal Notes
This statement is based on the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), EU Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act), and WCAG standards. It serves for information and transparency and does not replace legal advice.
Inspired by applications outside the industry, this fastening technique finds its place in filtration. This simple mounting option significantly reduces working times. The screwless assembly also prevents screws from falling into the filter cake trough. For example, an overhang cloth can be changed quickly and easily at the turbidity bore in the filter press using a ring remover and rubber hammer.
Through the connection with the JVK SnapFit®, the attachments are pre-assembled with sufficient holding force, ensuring they remain firmly connected during the transport of the filter elements. The attachments are fully fixed and sealed to the filter plate by the closing force of the filter press.
The ring remover (JVK utility model) is also a JVK development, specifically designed to release rings fastened with the JVK SnapFit® and safely remove them from the filter press area.
